Larry Lemarié grew up in New Orleans and worked in the Oil & Gas industry for more than 35 years. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and graduated with an Engineering degree. He joined Halliburton in 1982 as the Operations Engineer, followed by Business Development, Business Development Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and then as Sales Manager. In 2016, Larry retired and started going to Haiti to assist with Respire Haiti. He has supervised construction projects of classrooms, housing and other projects. He developed an interest for hydroponics to see if it had an application in Haiti, and as such he built his own Greenhouse in 2017. After four years planting, growing, and harvesting much of the clean and healthy produce that feeds Lafayette, Louisiana consumes, Larry sold his Greenhouse. He is currently a member of LAGCOE Board of Directors and the technical advisor for Cajun Acres Log Cabin & Greenhouse.
