Established in 2012, the Lagcoe Education Fund, housed at the Community Foundation of Acadiana, is dedicated to advancing educational initiatives within the energy industry. As a 501(c)(3) entity, its primary focus is to provide funding for projects and programs that enhance understanding and knowledge of the energy sector. The fund supports various projects, notably Little Energizers for Elementary and Middle School Students, Future Energy Professionals for High School students, and the Energy Leadership Program tailored for recent college graduates or mid career professionals, seeking training in leadership, teamwork, and industry advocacy.
