YPL Executive Committee: Vasan Ambatipati

Srinivasan (Vasan) Ambatipati, YPL Executive Committee Member started his career in Oil and Gas R&D and worked for 10 years in Lafayette before moving on to academics as Professor in Chemical Engineering at McNeese State University. He is continuing his research in oil and gas at McNeese and empowering the next generation of engineers with the experience he gained during his industrial career. He lives in Lafayette and is married to his wife Swaroopa of 14 years, and has two sons, Anirudh (age 5) and Kirthik (age 2). Vasan holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, NY and is looking forward to helping the community with his leadership skills.
