Professionals of Lagcoe Receives $2,439 New York Life Foundation Donation to Support Little Energizers Program

Lafayette, LA [August 5, 2026]  – Professionals of Lagcoe is proud to announce the receipt of a $2,439 donation from the New York Life Foundation in support of its Little Energizers Program.

The donation was made possible through the participation of New York Life Insurance agents who volunteered at the 2025 Lagcoe Golf Tournament, where every step they took helped raise funds for community programs. Their collective efforts will help Professionals of Lagcoe continue bringing hands-on STEM learning experiences into local schools.

Through the Little Energizers Program, Professionals of Lagcoe members visit classrooms to spark students' interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) while introducing them to the exciting world of energy careers. During each visit, volunteers lead students in building a fun STEM kit activity, provide three additional take-home STEM activities, and give each child two engaging books, one highlighting STEM careers and another focused on energy education.

Professionals of Lagcoe extends its sincere appreciation to the New York Life Foundation and the dedicated New York Life agents whose participation made this donation possible. Their support will help inspire the next generation of innovators and energy professionals.
