I swear, you can’t take Louisianians anywhere without bringing a whole lot of joie de vivre, a one-of-a-kind accent, and unmatched expertise in oil and gas! ADIPEC 2024 was no exception, as Louisiana’s energy innovators took the world’s largest energy exposition by storm. From November 4-7 in Abu Dhabi, this massive event brought together 205,139 participants from 172 countries to tackle some of the most pressing issues in the energy industry, from decarbonization to energy security and AI-driven solutions.
And Louisiana? Oh, we stood out.
Louisiana’s Expertise on Display
Ten exceptional Louisiana companies and six key partners joined forces to showcase what our state offers to the global energy market. Whether it was industry-leading lubricants and sealants, advanced water filtration and separation solutions, or cutting-edge pipe corrosion and mitigation technologies, Louisiana’s booth in the USA Pavilion (Hall 7, #7536) was buzzing with innovation and expertise.
Representing Louisiana were:
We also had representation from companies like Starr Power Tongues, Tiger Rentals, and Expro, big supporters of Lagcoe, further highlighting the strength and diversity of Louisiana’s energy sector.
A Booth That Stole the Show
Thanks to Louisiana Economic Development (LED), Louisiana was front and center at ADIPEC with a stunning double-decker booth. The design featured individual sections downstairs where companies could showcase their products and solutions, while upstairs served as a private space for client meetings. It was the perfect setup to make connections and close deals. The cherry on top of the cake? Magnolias and beads details to bring the uniqueness and fun typical of Louisiana.
Louisiana Economic Development’s STEP (State Trade Expansion Program) Grant provided invaluable support for participating companies, covering their exhibitor's fee. If you’re a Louisiana business looking to expand into global markets, take note! The STEP Grant is a fantastic resource for exhibiting at international events like ADIPEC. Adding to the excitement, U.S. Commercial Service New Orleans not only facilitated meetings for exhibitors but also brought U.S. Ambassador Martina Strong to the Louisiana booth, highlighting our state’s global impact and fostering international partnerships.
The Partners Made It Happen
Lagcoe joined:
Together, we created a space where Louisiana companies could shine, connect with global leaders, and form lasting partnerships.
Why ADIPEC Matters
With over $10 billion in cross-sector partnerships, 1,800 international speakers, and 370 sessions, ADIPEC is more than a conference—it’s where the future of energy is shaped. Louisiana’s presence wasn’t just about showcasing products; it was about fostering connections, promoting commerce, and advancing education (more about that later).
As Ed Godeaux, General Manager at Produced Water Solutions, said, “If you want to grow your business, ADIPEC is a good show to meet new people and kickstart your development in the Middle East.”
