Lagcoe Celebrates a Successful Energy Week in Acadiana

Lagcoe wrapped up a vibrant and impactful Energy Week, held August 25–30, 2025, with a series of events bringing together professionals, community members, and partners to celebrate the energy industry.

The week kicked off on Monday with Morning Circuit, where professionals gathered at the Lagcoe office to network over coffee. On Tuesday, the Lagcoe Board of Directors convened at the Petroleum Club to discuss upcoming initiatives and events. Wednesday saw a packed house at The Yard Goat as Lagcoe hosted a lively celebration of National Petroleum Day. On Thursday, Lagcoe welcomed members and guests to an engaging webinar on AI in Energy, showcasing innovation and forward-looking discussions.

The week concluded on Friday with Power & Pup at Moncus Park, a relaxed stroll with dogs proudly sporting Lagcoe bandanas and enjoying pup cups.

Adding to the celebration, Lafayette Mayor-President Monique Blanco Boulet officially proclaimed August 25–30 as Energy Week in Lafayette Parish, recognizing the importance of the energy sector to our community.

Lagcoe is committed to building on this success and plans to expand Energy Week in 2026, with even more opportunities for networking, education, and celebration.
