Lagcoe Announces MPH Energy Services as Presenting Sponsor of Roux Fest

LAFAYETTE, La. [December 30, 2025] — Lagcoe is proud to announce MPH Energy Services as the Presenting Sponsor of Roux Fest, Lagcoe’s annual gumbo cookoff and community celebration that brings together the energy industry, local businesses, and the Acadiana community.

MPH Energy Services is a newly launched, full-service oil and gas decommissioning company backed by Noble Capital. The company is entering the market with newly constructed well plug and abandonment (P&A) spreads scheduled for delivery in the coming months and an already active project slate, including work planned for December and a full calendar of operations in 2026.

In addition to well P&A services, MPH Energy Services plans to expand its capabilities in the near term to include heavy-well operations (HWO), marine support, and complete turnkey decommissioning solutions, positioning the company as a comprehensive partner for offshore and onshore energy operators.

A key component of MPH Energy Services’ launch is its leadership team. The company recently announced the appointment of Frank Braud as Vice President of Operations. Over the past decade, Braud and his team have successfully abandoned more oil and gas wells in the Gulf of America than any other team in the region, bringing unmatched experience and operational expertise to MPH Energy Services.
