"Tony Bernard's poster design of oilfield imagery painted inside of a fleur de lis perfectly captures the essence of the Louisiana oil and gas industry," said LAGCOE representatives.
Bernard's poster art was chosen from 20 submissions.
The poster features smaller illustrations within the fleur de lis including a Gulf of Mexico oil rig, a helicopter, oil pipes, and two roughnecks.
The poster was unveiled August 3, at The Petroleum Club during the 2015 LAGCOE Looey Luncheon.
Tony Bernard, born and raised in Lafayette, La. is a freelance artist who was commissioned to create original artwork for local and regional festivals, professional sports teams and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.
LAGCOE will be held October 27-29, 2015 at The Cajundome & Convention Center.
