Paul Hilliard is the president of Badger Oil Corporation for over 62 years. Hilliard is known for his selfless spirit, pride and success as a veteran oil and gas oil entrepreneur. Born in Wisconsin, Hilliard has been a successful independent operator of an oil corporation. He has used his success to help others in need. In 2009 he was awarded the esteemed national Horatio Alger Award and Civic Cup in 2003. Hilliard and his late wife Lulu provided $5 million dollars in seed money to start the Paul and Lulu Hilliard Art Museum at UL-Lafayette. His immense contribution to oil and gas earned him the Lagcoe Looey for two years (from 2005-2008).
