W.M. Hudson was a superintendent for Texco, Inc. in New Iberia. A native of Shreveport, he held a degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa. Hudson was the former director of the Houma chapter of API and a former officer of the New Orleans AIME. He was a founder and president of Hudson Engineering Consultants, Inc. Hudson served as board member, executive committee and advisory to the board. He served as an exhibit judge.  He was an active member Lagcoe until his final years.
