Ryan LaGrange, LEDA
Ryan LaGrange has been the Manager of Workforce Development with the Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) since April 2008. In this role, Ryan serves as an advisor to the Acadiana business community regarding workforce issues including employee recruitment efforts, retention of existing employees, and acquiring funds to help offset training expenses. He joined the staff at LEDA after working for the Louisiana Workforce Commission (previously Department of Labor) for more than seven years. Ryan received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is a graduate of St. Martinville Senior High School. He has been involved with the planning of the Annual Career Connections Expo, and One Acadiana’s Workforce Division since 2008. Ryan currently serves as Treasurer of the board for Broussard Economic Development Corporation and has also served as board member with the region’s Workforce Development Board for twelve years and as President of the Acadiana Society of Human Resources Management in 2016. Aside from work, Ryan and his wife, Jessica, enjoy their job as parents to two sons, Liam & Aiden, and daughter, Nami.
Gifford Briggs, LOGA
Gifford Briggs joined LOGA in 2007 working closely with the Louisiana Legislature. After nearly a decade serving as LOGA’s Vice President, Gifford was
named President in 2018. Briggs first joined LOGA in 1994 while attending college at LSU. He served as Membership Coordinator & helped organize
many firsts for LOGA, including the first annual meeting, Gulf Coast Prospect & Shale Expo, & board meetings. He later moved to Atlanta to
pursue a career in restaurant management, returning to LOGA in 2007. He is married to Jackie Briggs & currently resides in Baton Rouge with their
sons, Ash & Max, & their daughter, Chloe.
Kim Billeaudeau, UL Lafayette Career Services
Kimberly Billeaudeau currently serves as the Director of Career Services at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has been in the Career Services profession for over nineteen years. Kimberly is involved in several local, regional and national associations for Career Services professionals and employers. She is a past President of the Louisiana Association of Colleges & Employers and currently serves on the Southern Association of Colleges & Employers Board of Directors. She is also a certified Etiquette Consultant through The Etiquette Institute. Kimberly provides training to students, alumni and employers on job search preparation, interviewing techniques, recruiting strategies, and professional etiquette.
