Lagcoe Professionals Energize Evangeline Elementary with Engaging Energy Education

On May 15, 2024, professionals of Lagcoe  are eagerly preparing to deliver the Little Energizers program at Evangeline Elementary School, thanks to a generous grant from the Pinhook Foundation and the Stuller Family Foundation. This initiative aims to ignite curiosity and educate students about the diverse world of energy, fostering a deeper understanding of its importance and potential.

The Little Energizers program is designed to engage elementary school students in dynamic activities, presentations, and discussions centered on energy-related topics and STEM careers. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive content, the program seeks to inspire a sense of wonder and appreciation for various forms of energy, including both renewable and non-renewable sources.

Drawing from their expertise and passion within the energy industry, the professionals from Lagcoe are dedicated to sharing their knowledge with the next generation. By partnering with Evangeline Elementary School and the Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS), they aim to enrich the curriculum and provide students with a unique learning experience.

At Evangeline Elementary, the Lagcoe professionals will collaborate closely with teachers to tailor the program to the 4th grade level and educational objectives of the students. By delivering the Little Energizers program, Lagcoe contributes not only to the educational enrichment of the local community but also to the promotion of corporate responsibility and community engagement. Through partnerships with organizations like the LPSS, Lagcoe demonstrates its commitment to promoting STEM literacy and empowering future generations to become informed stewards of energy resources.

The partnership between Lagcoe, Evangeline Elementary School, and the LPSS exemplifies the collaborative efforts necessary to inspire and prepare students for success in an increasingly interconnected world. Through initiatives like the Little Energizers program, the energy industry continues to play a crucial role in shaping the educational landscape and nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

As professionals from Lagcoe gear up to visit Evangeline Elementary School on May 15, 2024, anticipation and excitement are palpable among both students and educators. This endeavor stands as a testament to the transformative power of education and the boundless potential of young minds to create a brighter, more sustainable future for generations to come.
