Lagcoe Professionals Bring Little Energizers Program to Dr. Raphael A. Baranco Elementary

Date: May 21, 2024

On May 21, 2024, professionals from Lagcoe brought the Little Energizers program to Dr. Raphael A. Baranco Elementary School, igniting curiosity and educating children about STEM careers and energy. This initiative, made possible by generous donations from the Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA), the Stuller Family Foundation, and the Pinhook Foundation, inspired young minds and fostered a deeper understanding of the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The Little Energizers program engaged elementary school students through interactive activities, presentations, and discussions focused on energy-related topics. With hands-on demonstrations and engaging content, the program instilled a sense of wonder and appreciation for various forms of energy, including renewable and non-renewable sources.

Lagcoe professionals, passionate about sharing their knowledge and experiences, worked closely with educators at Dr. Raphael A. Baranco Elementary to tailor the program to the 4th-grade level. Topics covered included energy production, environmental sustainability, energy conservation practices, and the role of innovation in shaping the future of energy.

Through partnerships with organizations like LEDA, the Stuller Family Foundation, and the Pinhook Foundation, Lagcoe demonstrated its commitment to supporting education and community development. By investing in initiatives like the Little Energizers program, Lagcoe continues to promote STEM literacy and empower students to explore exciting career paths in STEM-related fields.

✨ The Little Energizers program is hosted throughout the year. For more information—or to sponsor or volunteer—please contact info@lagcoe.com
