Future Energy Professionals (FEP) Tour

Lagcoe hosted the Future Energy Professionals (FEP) Tour on January 20, 2025, at Acadian Contractors. The event brought together high school juniors and seniors from across Louisiana who are interested in STEM careers and pursuing a 2-year or 4-year college/university degree in the state.

Why Students Attended:

• Learned about career opportunities in the energy industry

• Received a guided facility tour courtesy of Acadian Contractors

• Discovered details about the Future Energy Professionals (FEP) Scholarship

• Met the requirement of attendance to be eligible for the FEP Scholarship

Lagcoe provided all necessary PPE, including hard hats, safety vests, and safety glasses, while students arrived prepared in long-sleeve shirts and closed-toe shoes.

The FEP Tour offered a firsthand look at the energy industry and gave students the tools and inspiration to jumpstart their STEM-focused future.
