Lagcoe, a nonprofit organization established to support the advancement of the energy industry, is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to manage our finances. Your responsibilities will include tracking our organization’s revenue and expenses, producing financial reports from QuickBooks, and auditing our books to ensure accuracy. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with QuickBooks, and a solid understanding of financial practices.
Lagcoe's bookkeeper is responsible for recording daily financial transactions, updating a general ledger and preparing trial balances for perusal by Executive Director and Board of Directors' Treasurer. You will maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance. Additionally, you will monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist Executive Director and Board of Directors in taking strategic decisions.
