Saleh Al-Rumaih is Manager of the Procurement & Logistics (P&L) Department for Aramco Services Company, the U.S.-based subsidiary of Saudi Aramco. In this role, he oversees procurement management services in the Western Hemisphere to support the global operations of Saudi Aramco. Al-Rumaih and his team are responsible for the sourcing, purchasing, expediting and export shipping services. They also provide logistical services to Saudi Aramco's project management teams (PMTs) that operate in the United States and fulfill specific requests from PMTs around the globe to source, register and qualify manufacturing facilities for products. Throughout his more than 25 years with the company, Al Rumaih has held a number of leadership positions. Prior to joining Aramco Services, he was the Senior Procurement Agent for Saudi Aramco’s Drilling and Industrial Procurement Divisions in the Operations Purchasing & Inventory Department. In this role, he implemented the latest supply chain management strategies to obtain cost advantages and maximize inventory investments. Al-Rumaih has supervised multiple inspection teams, overseen quality audits, and has been responsible for the inspection process involved in major shutdown operations. He has also monitored contractor work involved in the engineering, procurement and construction phase of some of Saudi Aramco’s largest capital expansion initiatives, including a major upgrade to the Ras Tanura Refinery. Al-Rumaih holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science, both in engineering, from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Saudi Arabia.
