Thank you, Acadiana, for a great 2017

Dec 18, 2017

2017 proved to be another great year for LAGCOE. LAGCOE 2017 welcomed more than 10,000 attendees from 21 countries and across the U.S. to the Cajundome & Convention Center in Lafayette, La., on October 24-26. LAGCOE 2017 attendees had access to more than 360 exhibitors, three Keynote Presentations, and dozens of technical and international sessions, all of which represented a variety of energy industry interests over the three-day period.

Thank you to the more than 360 exhibitors who traveled from across the globe to showcase their innovative products and services that help us fuel our world. We sincerely hope LAGCOE 2017 provided an avenue for profitable networking.

Thank you to our sponsors whose support allows LAGCOE to do more than ever to support the energy industry through the promotion of commerce and education.

Thank you to the thousands of attendees who have traveled from near and far to visit our exhibits, learn about new technologies, hear presentations and network with colleagues from around the world. We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming you with open arms and hope that during your stay you found no shortage of delicious food, good music and friendly people. We also hope LAGCOE 2017 was a memorable experience for you and your business that makes you want to return often for business and pleasure.

Thank you to the hundreds of industry and community volunteers, especially our Board of Directors and Managing Members, for your dedicated service to LAGCOE and the energy industry. There would be no show without you!

Thank you to our community partners for lending support to LAGCOE, both in show times, as well as year-round: Lafayette Consolidated Government – Lafayette International Center, Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission, Lafayette Economic Development Authority, Louisiana Economic Development and Louisiana Oil and Gas Association.

Lafayette is fortunate to have a high concentration of energy industry companies, which has allowed the city to host an event of this magnitude in the heart of Cajun Country every other year. Thank you to our great city for the unparalleled hospitality that is shown to the oil and gas industry and for helping us keep LAGCOE a free-to-attend industry event.

For 62 years now, LAGCOE has supported continued growth of industry commerce through the exposition which highlights the technological advances in the oil and gas industry. LAGCOE showcases to the world the fact that Acadiana is the gateway to America's Energy Corridor. It keeps a spotlight on the numerous industry technological advancements that have come from the entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking of our local industry people. Keeping that spotlight on Acadiana is critical in today's globally competitive market.
