On November 10, 2021, LAGCOE's Board of Directors announced the return of the LAGCOE Technical Exposition and Conference to Lafayette, Louisiana. With a new name, Energy Fest powered by LAGCOE, the show will take place at the Cajundome & Convention Center, October 19-21, 2022.
After postponement due to COVID-19, the decision to bring this cutting edge, topic-oriented, and vibrant show back to Lafayette was mainly due to the support of Lafayette City Mayor-President Josh Guillory and partners like the Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission. Booth sales, sponsorships, and attendees registration will be available in 2022.

The Professionals of LAGCOE (PoL) will be hosting the much-awaited Annual Holiday Social, this coming Thursday, December 16, 2022 at 5:30PM in POUR-River Ranch.
The new executive committee will also host a general meeting at 4PM in POUR- River Ranch. They plan to discuss upcoming events, recruiting of volunteers for the LAGCOE2022 Energy Fest, and LAGCOE's educational initiatives. The meeting will be followed by the social.

Do you plan to go shopping for the holidays? Consider purchasing some extra items to help reduce the burden and the stress of children entering foster care.
Children often enter foster care with few or no personal items and many foster parents are given limited time to prepare for the arrival of a child placed in their home. In partnership with Foster the Love, the Professionals of LAGCOE will be collecting items to help prepare first night bags for these children.
All items must be new and unopen. Items will be collected at the LAGCOE's Office, but also on December 16 at POUR-River Ranch, during the Professionals of LAGCOE General Meeting and then at the Annual Holiday Social.

Mentorship Program to Kickoff in January |
January 20, 2022 will be the kick-off date for the LAGCOE Mentorship Program.
With the focus on providing a support network for the Professionals of LAGCOE, the program aims to match experienced inspirational leaders with young professionals who can gain career, personal guidance, and direction through their mentors’ experience. More information to come in January.

Prepare to step out of the office for a fun excursion while still being able to network with fellow industry professionals. Our annual golf tournament will be held April 7 & 8, 2022 at the Golden Nugget Resort and Casino in Lake Charles. The event proceeds will go towards LAGCOE Education Fund, which awards scholarships to high school juniors/seniors who plan to attend college/university in Louisiana and major in a STEM centric degree. |
