Jocko Willink trainee, Carlos Mendez, to deliver keynote address at Energy Fest. 

Carlos Mendez, a former NAVY SEAL who served as a medic, a primary sniper, and a point man in Southeast Asia, Iraq, Central America, and Afghanistan will be delivering the keynote speech on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Energy Fest.

 Carlos' presentation is titled Combat Leadership: Build High Performance, Winning Teams.

FEP Scholarship Opportunity

The Future Energy professionals Tours are back! On October 20, 2022, from 10AM - 1PM high school junior and seniors interested in exploring a STEM Centric career are welcome to attend the Energy Fest and visit with exhibitors, a Professional of LAGCOE, a UL Lafayette Ambassador, and attend the keynote session for the day. At the end of the tour, students will receive the opportunity to apply for the LAGCOE FEP Scholarship.

Professionals of LAGCOE partnered with CGI to deliver a STEM Program to Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana.

On July 28, the Professionals of LAGCOE partnered with CGI to deliver the Little Energizers Program to the Granberry Club of Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana.  The program introduces children in our community to the wonders and excitement behind careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. By sparking an early interest in STEM, LAGCOE hopes to pave the way for the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators whose ideas will keep our energy industry growing, changing, and improving every day!

Professionals of LAGCOE partnered with The705: Young Leaders for a Better Acadiana 

On August 25, 2022, the Professionals of LAGCOE and The705 organization joined forces to bring a unique opportunity for young leaders in Acadiana to network. In a speed networking event, attendees were able to exchange information, discuss ideas, and learn more about both organizations and our upcoming events. Advancial Federal Credit Union sponsored the event.
