As a Project Manager at Oceaneering in Lafayette, La, Eric works directly with Senior Management to assist or lead in the planning, acquisition and interpretation of projects in the Geosciences division for both towed (conventional) and deep-water AUV surveys. Eric utilizes his expertise in high resolution geophysics to assist geoscientists in interpretation and reporting, directly manage geophysical projects from inception to final reporting, and to provide oversight to ensure compliance with any BOEM/BSEE, State, or other client requirements. At times, Eric is required to perform the duties of a shipboard scientist and field project manager interfacing with client representatives, and evaluating data quality. He has served as a party chief on eleven different vessels. As a geoscientist Eric has completed 235 projects; 95 of which he directed acquisition offshore. He has processed, interpreted, and/or reviewed over 91,000 line miles of geophysical data including all geophysical sensors. Authored or co-authored numerous reports/letters for MMS, BOEM, BSEE, Texas State Archaeologists, etc. Eric was the president of the Louisiana Chapter (now the Southeast Chapter) of THSOA in 2014 and has a degree in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
